September 1, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

P33,990

Overview

Designed by experienced project managers certified by PMP® and PRINCE2® standards – the world’s leading certification credentials for project management practitioners.

This in-depth professional certificate program is aligned to the Project Management Institute’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).

This is an interactive workshop where participants will learn to apply the techniques in managing projects using a simulation dubbed Whitehall’s World’s Tallest Tower Challenge™.

Course Outline

Module 1: Project Launch (Day 1)

Today’s fast track and globally competitive business environment mandates the need to increase project efficiency and effectiveness. Learn to justify and select projects and how stakeholders influence projects. Develop requirements necessary to define project scope and create a list of tasks necessary to accomplish the scope. Create effective communication plans and assign responsibilities. Gain an understanding of fundamentals of project planning and establish project requirements, objectives and goals before defining the total project scope with the use of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

Module 2: Project Planning (Day 2 to 3)

Successful projects do not happen by accident, they are a result of a conscious planning. Learn the critical project planning basics. Once you have mastered project planning, we will build upon your knowledge to logically map out your project schedule, estimate how long the work will take, arrange the project work in the required sequence and develop an understanding of what is the critical path.

Module 3: Project Execution (Day 4 to 5)

Planning is good but execution is better. Learn to effectively execute project activities and adapt to changes that may impact your project plans in the traditional and agile project environments. Develop the discipline of identifying risks and changes to keep your projects on course. Breath life into your project plans to develop effective project reporting. Learn how to manage resources effectively and close-out projects.
